Job summary

The Salvation Army Midtown Services and Treatment Center in St. Louis, MO is seeking a full-time Treatment Support Specialist. You will monitor the Substance Abuse Program across Detox, Residential, and Outpatient settings and assist with client goals while performing associate counseling duties.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, one year of experience, and current confidentiality. Expect a 40-hour week with starting pay of $15.00 per hour and full benefits as described in the job

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and one year of work experience.
• Must be a team player, a self-starter with minimal supervision.
• Ability to think independently and maintain confidentiality.
• The Salvation Army mission and policies must be supported.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Perform breathalyzer and urinalysis tests.
• Orient new clients to the program and manage intake.
• Provide group counseling and lead education sessions.
• Refer eligible clients to MAT in consultation with counselors.
