A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator to facilitate scheduling treatments at its Virginia location. This role will involve multiple responsibilities including patient interaction, administrative support, and effective communication with the clinical team. Applicants must have significant experience in a medical office setting, proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, and excellent scheduling skills in a busy practice.
Virginia Oncology Associates, the largest group of medical professionals in Hampton Roads and Northeast North Carolina devoted exclusively to cancer care and blood disorders, has an exciting opportunity for a Patient Services Coordinator - Treatment Scheduler to support our office in Norfolk.
Scope: This position will serve as the primary treatment scheduler for our Norfolk office treatment area. This position will be trained on the full scope of treatment scheduling and the patient services coordinator role with the expectation to fill in as needed.

Accurately schedule treatments for the correct clinician based on types of treatments/durations.
Communicate with the clinical team when overbooking may be needed.
