You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident outcomes, requiring clinical expertise, reliability, and collaboration. In this role you will perform dressing changes, monitor healing progress, and communicate care plans with physicians and families.

Qualifications

• Active LVN or RN license in good standing with the state of Texas.

Responsibilities

• Perform dressing changes, wound assessments, and specialized skin treatments.
• Monitor and document healing progress of wounds, incisions, and skin concerns.
• Communicate effectively with physicians and families regarding care plans.
• Evaluate residents’ nutritional and hydration needs related to wound healing.
• Review lab results and respond to signs of infection.
• Educate staff on wound prevention and treatment protocols.
• Assist with floor staffing to ensure continuity of care.
