You will assess needs, document progress, educate staff, and participate in staffing to ensure continuity of care in a full-time role. The position emphasizes compassionate, resident-centered care and strong collaboration with physicians and families.

Qualifications

• Holds an active LVN or RN license in good standing with the state
• Has experience in wound care and treatment procedures (preferred)
• Possesses strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Works independently and thrives in a team-centered environment
• Demonstrates a compassionate, resident-centered approach to nursing

Responsibilities

• Perform dressing changes, wound assessments, and specialized skin treatments
• Monitor and document healing progress of wounds, incisions, and skin concerns
• Communicate effectively with physicians and families regarding care plans
• Evaluate residents’ nutritional and hydration needs related to wound healing
• Review lab results and respond to signs of infection
• Educate staff on wound prevention and treatment protocols
• Assist with floor staffing as needed to ensure continuity of care
