Job summary

The Springs of Camden is actively hiring a Treatment Nurse (LPN or RN) to join our full-time clinical team. You will provide resident care, administer medications, monitor conditions, and document changes in our electronic system.

Qualifications

• Licensed practical or registered nurse in good standing.
• Ability to document and follow physicians' orders and clinical guidelines.
• Experience in long-term care or similar clinical setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Observe, assess, and document resident conditions and changes.
• Perform skin assessments per facility procedures.
• Implement interventions to prevent pressure ulcers and educate staff, residents, and families.
• Administer treatments and medications as ordered and per guidelines.
• Manage skin tears and wounds; collaborate with interdisciplinary team for care plans.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation.
• Assist with infection control surveillance and adherence to principles.
• Monitor subordinate staff activities and assist in investigations.
• Identify and secure equipment and supplies for wound care.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the Treatment Nurse include:

• Observing, assessing, and documenting resident conditions and changes
• Performing skin assessments in accordance with facility procedures
• Implementing interventions to prevent pressure ulcers and educating staff, residents, and families on their importance
• Administering treatments and medications as per physicians' orders and clinical guidelines
• Managing skin tears, surgical wounds, and other conditionsCollaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans
• Ensuring accurate and timely documentation
• Assisting with infection control surveillance and adherence to principles
• Monitoring subordinate staff activities and assisting in incident investigations
• Identifying and securing necessary equipment and supplies for wound care
