Job summary

Cumberland County’s Justice Services Department seeks a Treatment Court Coordinator to support specialty treatment court programs, including services for survivors of human trafficking. You will manage a caseload, coordinate referrals, conduct intake, facilitate assessments, and prepare court and treatment reports.

The role requires a four‑year degree in a human services field and two years of criminal justice or substance abuse experience, plus the ability to work with partners across agencies.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited four‑year college or university with a degree in a human services field and two years of criminal justice or substance abuse related experience.
• Experience in case management and familiarity with treatment court processes is preferred.
• Knowledge of assessments and treatment services and ability to coordinate with partners across agencies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate participant referrals, intake, screening, and eligibility for assigned treatment court programs.
• Serve as the primary case manager, monitoring participant progress and coordinating services.
• Obtain releases of information and coordinate assessments and individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with probation officers, treatment providers, and social service agencies to support participants.
• Prepare written reports and provide case updates to the treatment court core team.
• Schedule court status conferences and present progress reports to the court.
• Conduct random drug testing and maintain participant documentation and court records.
• Enter and maintain participant information in required databases.
• Coordinate staffing and engage community resources to enhance program services.
• Attend court proceedings and treatment sessions to advocate for participants.
