Job summary

Allied OMS NEWCO LLC in Dallas is seeking a personable Treatment Coordinator to connect surgeons, patients, and referring offices throughout the surgical journey—from consultation to post-treatment follow-up.

The role emphasizes clear communication, accurate record-keeping, cost estimates, insurance coordination, and a seamless patient experience. Prior dental, oral surgery, or medical office exposure is helpful; training will be provided to support practice-management software proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Experience in a dental, oral surgery, or medical office is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with CDT coding and insurance processes is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable discussing treatment and finances with patients.
• Proficiency with practice management software (Dolphin, Dentrix, Open Dental) and general computer skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and genuine compassion for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide concierge-level customer service in person, by phone, and electronically.
• Present treatment plans to patients, explaining recommended procedures in clear, accessible terms.
• Prepare and present cost estimates and financial arrangements prior to treatment.
• Verify and maintain patient insurance information; explain coverage and out-of-pocket costs.
• Collect patient payments and manage financial agreements.
• Schedule and coordinate surgical appointments to optimize the doctor's schedule.
• Communicate with referring dental and medical offices regarding patient treatment status.
• Partner closely with clinical staff to ensure a seamless, coordinated patient experience.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA.
• Follow up with patients on pending treatment plans and outstanding balances.
