Qualifications

• CPR certification, an X-ray license, and Orthodontic Dental Assistant certification required or on-the-job.
• Experience in dental/orthodontic or fast-paced admin settings is beneficial.

About the role

• The Treatment Coordinator is an on-site position that serves as a trusted guide for new patients and families as they consider orthodontic treatment. As part of the Redemption Orthodontics Team, you will create a warm, welcoming consultation experience while helping patients understand their recommended treatment, available options, financial arrangements, and next steps. This role works closely with our doctors, clinical and administrative teams, outside dental offices, and senior leadership. Travel between locations and to community events may occasionally be required.

What you'll do

• You will guide patients through the treatment-consultation and onboarding process by clearly explaining the doctor’s diagnosis, recommended treatment, benefits and risks, treatment options, estimated duration, costs, insurance benefits, and payment arrangements. You will help patients confidently select a treatment option while providing a supportive, informative, and personalized experience.
• You will communicate with patients by telephone, email, and text; document interactions in Cloud 9; coordinate referrals and correspondence with other dental offices; and resolve treatment‑coordination questions or escalations through consistent communication, tracking, and follow‑up. You will also use established reports, forms, checklists, protocols, and templates to ensure each consultation is handled accurately and consistently.
• Additional responsibilities include serving as a local treatment‑coordination subject‑matter expert, training and assisting other team members, providing backup support for concierge and financial functions, and participating in approved marketing and community initiatives that help introduce new patients to the practice. You will also contribute ideas and community connections that may increase patient interest and treatment acceptance.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate is a confident, compassionate, and highly organized communicator who can explain orthodontic procedures and financial information in clear, easy-to-understand language. You should have excellent customer‑service skills, a positive and patient approach, and the ability to build trust while helping patients make important treatment decisions.
• Strong influencing and negotiation skills are important, along with the ability to contribute positively within a team environment. Candidates must be comfortable using Excel, Cloud 9 reports, and other software systems or portals. Dependable attendance is required for scheduled patient days and special events, along with flexibility to occasionally work late, remotely, or outside regular business hours when preapproved and directed.
• CPR certification, an X-ray license, and Orthodontic Dental Assistant certification are required or must be completed through the available on‑the‑job process.
• Basic dental knowledge is preferred.
• Experience in a dental, orthodontic, medical, hospitality, customer‑service, or fast‑paced administrative setting would be beneficial.
