Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe seeks a dedicated professional for the Addiction & Dependency Division to provide clients with coordination, case management, and culturally informed support after corrections release.

The role emphasizes collaboration with tribal and county agencies, development of treatment plans, transportation logistics, and outreach to LLBO communities while upholding ARC and LLBO policies.

Qualifications

• AA/AS in Social Work or related field or equivalent.
• CADC1 preferred or willing to obtain.
• One year of practical experience in addictions counseling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise grants specific to Treatment Coordination.
• Design a culturally specific opioid use service for Native American individuals released from a correctional facility, utilizing LLBO resources.
• Collaborate with treatment team regarding clients.
• Develop treatment plans with counselors.
• Provide approved transportation for client appointments and activities.
• Develop program procedures for intake, referrals, and treatment plans; set operating hours and outreach plans.
• Build partnerships with state and county correctional facilities and jails (Cass, Itasca, Hubbard, Beltrami).
• Coordinate interventions and intake referrals for Mental Health.
• Record data and submit quarterly progress reports.
• Meet with billing staff to secure funding for activities.
• Support client sobriety goals and public agency outreach.
• Attend mandatory meetings and trainings.
• Travel in/out of state as needed.
• Respect Native American cultural values; adhere to ARC P&P and LLBO GAPP.
