Job summary

Stella-Jones Corporation in Cordele, Georgia is seeking a qualified Treating Engineer 2 for our 2nd shift. This role performs operating work related to daily work instructions, inspection, grading, treatment and materials, and runs the treating plant safely and proficiently from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

The position requires education of a high school diploma or GED, with one year treating experience preferred and familiarity with chemicals.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: One year treating experience preferred; must have experience working with chemicals.
• License/Certification: Pesticide applicators license preferred; Boiler Operating License preferred, PIE Certified.

Responsibilities

• Operate and control treating plant systems per SOPs and manage production levels.
• Perform inspection, grading, treatment, and material handling duties as needed.
• Maintain safety, security, and compliance with regulations within the plant.
