Stella-Jones Corporation is seeking a Production Supervisor in Cordele, Georgia. You will supervise shift operations, plan work orders, and coordinate materials flow to meet customer specifications while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree; or two to four years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience: Supervisory experience in wood products and other manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of production shift operations to meet safety and productivity targets.
• Analyzes work orders to estimate hours and create schedules meeting internal/external needs.
• Assigns equipment and personnel to optimize material flow.
• Computes stock and supplies requirements based on production schedules and requisitions.
• Interprets product specifications and job orders; assigns duties accordingly.
• Interfacing with others to ensure production deadlines are met; coordinates quality inspections.
• Establishes/adjusts procedures to meet schedules; develops improvements to methods and quality.
• Maintains time and production records; participates in safety programs.
• Supervises exempt and non-exempt staff; conducts evaluations and training; may interview candidates.
