Verition is seeking an experienced Tech Lead to join Treasury Engineering in New York. You will design, build, and evolve systems supporting financing, funding, and treasury operations across a global portfolio.

This role combines architecture, mentorship, and hands-on coding to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions. You will collaborate with Portfolio Finance, Repo Trading, and Quantitative Research teams, driving architectural decisions and engineering standards while mentoring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Hands-on with production systems and leading design/delivery.
• Strong programming skills in Python or Java; OO language knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of margin, financing, and treasury systems.
• Build low-latency applications supporting near real-time trade processing.
• Own architecture decisions and engineering standards for Treasury Engineering.
• Mentor engineers and enforce best practices; conduct reviews.
• Collaborate with Portfolio Finance, Repo Trading, and Quant teams.
• Improve performance, resiliency, and observability of services.
• Automate treasury workflows and reduce operational bottlenecks.
• Ensure production systems are reliable and scalable.
