Job summary

Verition Fund Management LLC is seeking an experienced Tech Lead for Treasury Engineering to design, build, and evolve systems supporting financing, funding, and treasury operations across global assets. You will mentor engineers and write production-quality code while partnering with Portfolio Finance, Repo Trading, and Quant teams.

You will lead architecture decisions, ensure operational stability, and drive platform strategy, with a focus on scalable, high-performance treasury workflows

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with complex production systems
• Hands-on leadership experience while delivering production-grade software
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or similar OO language
• Excellent knowledge of software architecture, distributed systems, concurrency, and scalable design

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and development of margin, financing, and treasury systems across asset classes
• Architect scalable, low-latency applications for near real-time trade processing
• Serve as technical lead for Treasury Engineering and guide long-term platform strategy
• Collaborate with Portfolio Finance, Repo Trading, and Quant teams to translate requirements into robust tech solutions
• Mentor engineers through reviews and day-to-day guidance to promote best practices
• Improve performance, resiliency, and observability of services and infrastructure
• Identify automation opportunities to streamline treasury workflows and reduce bottlenecks
• Own production systems with a focus on uptime and continuous improvement
