Job summary

Carlyle is seeking an Engineer for Treasury & Cash Management to own TMS delivery and ongoing operation. The role partners with Treasury, Finance, and operations to implement and enhance the TMS platform, ensuring accurate cash positioning, reliable payments, and clean reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
• 5+ years of hands-on engineering experience.
• 3+ years implementing or supporting a leading commercial TMS.
• Experience with REST APIs and SFTP integrations.
• Experience with SWIFT messaging in banking.
• Strong SQL and data modeling for reporting.
• Experience with AWS or Azure.
• Ability to work with offshore teams and SOC/SOX controls.

Responsibilities

• TMS Delivery & Enhancement: translate cash management, liquidity, and payments requirements into configured TMS functionality.
• Own AlpInvest TMS implementation delivery: configuration, integrations, data migration, testing, cutover, adoption.
• Design and build integrations between the TMS and Carlyle ecosystem (banks, accounting, custodians, fund administrators).
• Build treasury reporting/dashboards (cash positions, liquidity, forecasts) in BI tools or TMS reporting layer.
• Operate & support: monitoring, issue triage, root-cause analysis, hardening of components.
• Manage offshore engineering/operations contractors and set expectations.
• Document configurations, runbooks, and known issues for operability and changes.
• Stay current on TMS vendor roadmaps and treasury tech trends.
