Job summary

The Carlyle Group is seeking an Engineer, Treasury & Cash Management Technology to lead delivery, integration, and operation of the firm’s treasury management system. You will partner with Treasury, Finance, and operations to translate requirements into configured, integrated TMS functionality and to own the AlpInvest TMS implementation from configuration to cutover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years of hands‑on engineering experience.
• 3+ years with Hazeltree, Kyriba, GTreasury or comparable TMS.
• Strong integration experience using REST APIs and SWIFT messaging.
• Strong SQL/data modeling and production reporting skills.
• Proficient with Python or another general language; cloud experience (AWS/Azure).
• Experience in regulated financial services with auditable controls.

Responsibilities

• TMS Delivery & Enhancement: translate cash management requirements into TMS functionality.
• Own AlpInvest TMS implementation delivery across configuration, integrations, data migration, testing, cutover.
• Design integrations between TMS and banks, accounting systems, custodians, and reporting data platforms.
• Build treasury dashboards and reporting in Power BI/Tableau or native platforms.
• Extend platform to Global Private Equity, Global Credit, and Corporate Treasury use cases.
• Operate & Support: ensure reliability, triage issues, and harden components used by Finance.
