Job summary

RBC in New York is seeking a Treasury Services Associate to help acquire, manage and maintain client relationships within the treasury group. You will work with treasury sales on proposals, create materials and research, and coordinate with product partners to deliver comprehensive cash management solutions.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years in banking/treasury, strong communication, and MS Office proficiency.

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills with ability to mobilize internal networks and resources.
  • Time management, organizational and planning skills with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word) and strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with client call preparation by creating relationship review materials, pitch books, account plans, and conducting research.
  • Develop an understanding of clients' Treasury cash management structure and objectives.
  • Coordinate with product partners to develop comprehensive Treasury solutions.
  • Develop and understand competitors’ products and positioning within the client and market.
  • Collaborate with treasury sales solutions to manage pipeline, pricing and scheduling.
  • Coordinate with internal partners to ensure successful implementation, pricing/billing.

Job Description

The Treasury Services Associate role is a vital coverage team member that plays an integral part in acquiring, manage and maintain the client relationships. This position is designed to provide the tools required to evolve and progress the skillsets needed to grow in RBCs treasury organization. This role allows an individual to develop over time for a successful career within the firm and to pursue more senior roles within the Treasury group such as a cash management sales position

What will you do? (Job Responsibilities)
  • Work with treasury sales on client proposals to identify appropriate Treasury solutions, perform cost/benefit analysis, competitive pricing and run profitability models
  • Assist with client call preparation by creating relationship review materials, pitch books, account plans, and conducting customer research
  • Develop an understand clients' Treasury cash management structure and objectives
  • Coordinate with product partners to develop comprehensive Treasury solutions
  • Develop and understand competitors’ products and positioning within the client & market
  • Work with treasury sales solutions throughout the sales cycle to manage pipeline and ensure services and pricing are set up timely and accurately
  • Coordinate with internal partners to ensure successful implementation, product ramp-up and accurate pricing/billing

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $115,000 - $135,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
