Job summary

Blue Cross NC is seeking a Manager, Treasury Operations to oversee cash management and treasury functions across Blue Cross NC and its subsidiaries. You will lead banking relationships, guide analysts, and implement cost-effective funding strategies that support customer experience and treasury best practices.

The role emphasizes liquidity management, policy development, and regulatory awareness, with a hybrid work model and opportunities to influence treasury strategy across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required).
• 8+ years of experience in related field.
• In lieu of degree, 10+ years of experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cash management and treasury operations and banking relationships.
• Manage Treasury Analysts regarding daily funding and ensure proper funding of all bank accounts.
• Support development of cash flow projections to forecast cash needs.
• Assist Treasury Director to develop banking relationships and negotiate banking services.
• Manage the company's liquidity portfolio to maximize return while maintaining liquidity.
• Evaluate opportunities to improve liquidity through deposit/disbursement techniques.
• Provide SME guidance on treasury or banking-related projects.
• Stay informed on banking/insurance regulations and advances in banking tech.
• Develop and maintain funds transfer security and related policies.
• Ensure all Treasury processes are documented with controls.
• Act as primary Treasury contact for Financial Reporting Risk Management testing and continuity planning.
