Job summary

Blue Cross NC is seeking a Manager, Treasury Operations in Durham to oversee cash management and treasury operations across the company and its subsidiaries. You will manage banking relationships, guide Treasury Analysts, and help optimize receipt and payment strategies to improve customer experience and treasury practices.

The role involves developing cash flow projections, maintaining liquidity, and coordinating bank services while staying ahead of regulatory changes in banking and insurance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree is required.
• 8+ years of experience in related field.
• In lieu of degree, 10+ years of experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cash management and treasury operations.
• Manage and guide Treasury Analysts on daily funding and bank account funding.
• Develop cash flow projections for short, intermediate, and long-term needs.
• Coordinate banking relationships and evaluate new bank services.
• Manage liquidity portfolio to maximize return with adequate liquidity.
• Improve liquidity position via deposit/disbursement techniques.
• Provide SME guidance on treasury or banking projects.
• Monitor banking regulations and advances in banking tech.
• Develop funds transfer security policies and controls.
• Document Treasury processes with controls.
• Act as primary Treasury contact for Financial Reporting Risk Management testing and business continuity.
