Job summary

Blue Cross NC is seeking a Manager, Treasury Operations to oversee cash management and treasury operations for Blue Cross NC and its subsidiaries. You will manage banking relationships, collaborate with internal partners, and help strengthen efficient, cost-effective receipt and payment strategies that support treasury best practices.

You will lead Treasury Analysts, develop cash flow projections, and ensure liquidity optimization while aligning with company policies and regulatory changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree required.
• 8+ years of related field experience.
• In lieu of degree, 10+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cash management and treasury operations per company policy.
• Manage and guide Treasury Analysts on daily funding and bank accounts.
• Develop cash flow projections for short-, intermediate-, and long-term needs.
• Build and coordinate banking relationships; negotiate competitive banking fees.
• Manage liquidity portfolio to maximize return while maintaining liquidity.
• Propose improvements to deposit and disbursement techniques for liquidity.
• Provide SME guidance on treasury or banking projects across the company.
• Monitor banking regulations and advances in banking technology impacting operations.
• Develop and maintain funds transfer security policies and related controls.
• Serve as primary Treasury contact for risk management testing and business continuity.
