Job summary

SouthState Bank, N.A. is seeking a Treasury Management Specialist in Austin, TX to support business clients with treasury solutions, fraud prevention, and cash flow optimization. You will back up the Treasury Management Sales Officer, drive revenue through new services, onboard clients, and educate bankers about TM offerings.

Strong communication and organizational skills are essential. Five years of banking experience and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent are required, with telecommuting

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Five years banking experience; 5+ years in Treasury Management sales/product/support.
• Certifications/Knowledge: Excellent written/oral communications; problem analysis and resolution; attention to detail; ability to manage multiple detailed tasks; ability to develop rapport with clients, peers, and partners.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain knowledge of Treasury Management products, services, and pricing.
• Lead fraud discussions with clients and educate on options after fraud.
• Back up Treasury Management Sales Officer in their absence.
• Contribute to revenue through adding new accounts and/or new services.
• Prepare onboarding paperwork for new small business clients and add Treasury Management services.
• Work with retail bankers to educate and identify TM leads.
• Develop expertise in the Treasury Management small business platform.
• Educate bankers regarding client situations and opportunities.
• Assist with pricing projects and other TM initiatives.
