The Judicial Council of California is seeking a Manager within the Branch Accounting and Procurement office to oversee trial court treasury and trust accounting functions.

The role includes monitoring cash flow, investments, and compliance with accounting standards, advising courts on financial decisions, and managing banking relationships. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement with in-office days in San Francisco or Sacramento and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of professional-level analytical or managerial experience in assigned function, including program analysis, development, implementation, research, and advising, with supervisory experience.
• An additional four (4) years of professional experience may substitute for the bachelor’s degree.
• Master’s degree with two (2) years of supervisory experience or related experience.
• Two (2) years in a supervisor role within related Judicial Council functions or equivalent government role.

Responsabilités

• Manage banking relationships under BOAM for all trial court accounts.
• Provide treasury and banking advisory services to courts and the Council.
• Invest trial court funds and manage investment program.
• Oversee investment service provider contracts and relationships.
• Summarize daily and monthly cash flow data for investment decisions.
• Review investment positions for all 58 trial courts and plan redemptions/purchases.
