Job summary

Western Union seeks a Director, Treasury Infrastructure in a hybrid role in the USA. You will design, implement, and maintain treasury system infrastructure, including core banking and crypto solutions, to support global operations and the USDPT ecosystem.

You will lead cross-functional teams across treasury, IT, and business units; optimize liquidity, banking rails, and treasury management systems; and ensure robust controls and scalability for growth in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of treasury, fintech, payments, crypto, or financial services experience.
• Experience with stablecoins or crypto infrastructure (settlement, custody, token flows).
• Hands-on experience implementing and/or optimizing Treasury Management Systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop global liquidity structure strategy with treasury operations and tax.
• Optimize treasury payment rails (wire, ACH, cross-border) for efficiency.
• Lead treasury infrastructure optimization and system integration efforts.
• Serve as SME on cryptocurrencies and USDPT stablecoin infrastructure.
• Coordinate with IT, Accounting, and business units on design and controls.
