Job summary

Western Union is seeking a Director, Treasury Infrastructure reporting to the SVP - Treasurer, to define and implement the company’s treasury and payments infrastructure. The role focuses on core banking systems, crypto solutions, and USDPT stablecoin ecosystem with the Digital Assets team, driving modernization and strong controls.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of treasury/fintech/payments/crypto experience.
• Deep understanding of global payment and banking systems, multi-currency treasury operations.
• Direct experience with stablecoins or crypto infrastructure including settlement/custody.

Responsibilities

• Develop global liquidity structure strategy with treasury ops, tax, and stakeholders.
• Optimize treasury payment rails (wire, ACH, cross-border).
• Lead Treasury Management System and banking platform optimization with IT collaboration.
• Act as liaison between Treasury, IT, Accounting and business units.
• Identify and implement process and control improvements in cash movement and system integration.
• Support M&A due diligence and treasury integration.
