Job summary

United Community in Gallatin, TN is seeking a Treasury Onboarding Specialist to own the account opening process for Commercial and Middle Market clients, ensuring timely and accurate onboarding.

You will serve as a treasury management resource for key customers, manage multiple implementation projects, and collaborate with Relationship Managers to support reviews and retention, while maintaining SLAs and delivering high-touch service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, banking, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent banking and treasury management experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Treasury Management, Commercial Banking, Cash Management Operations, or related financial services roles.
• Experience implementing treasury management products for business customers required.
• Experience working with commercial and middle-market customers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the account opening process for Commercial and Middle Market clients.
• Resolve onboarding exceptions and documentation gaps.
• Serve as a treasury management resource for United Community's largest and most strategically important customers.
• Deliver a high-touch service model focused on responsiveness, accuracy, and exceptional customer experience.
• Manage multiple implementation projects simultaneously while meeting SLAs and timelines.
• Monitor implementation progress and address obstacles, risks, or delays.
• Serve as an escalation point for complex treasury-related service requests.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers to support annual relationship reviews and customer retention.
• Manage onboarding activities from kickoff through go-live and adoption.
• Develop implementation plans, timelines, and communication strategies tailored to customer needs.
• Conduct discovery sessions to understand workflows, payment processes, and operational requirements.
• Facilitate treasury solution setup, testing, validation, training, and go-live activities.
• Compliance Training: participate in all required compliance training (BSA/AML, etc.).
• Other duties: as assigned.
