Job summary

Planned Parenthood Federation of America seeks a Cash Management Coordinator, Cycle Hire, to support treasury operations at the NY head office. The role deposits and records cash, liaises with banks for pricing, and provides analytical support for decisions.

It reports to the Treasury Senior Director and collaborates with finance staff nationwide. The position is time-limited (not exceeding 12 months) and emphasizes accuracy, discretion, and adherence to internal controls.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree or beyond preferred.
• 3–6 months of experience in deposit cash management preferred.
• Knowledge of deposit process and banking terminology preferred.
• Working Excel skills required.
• Knowledge of General Ledger and banking systems preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Strong data entry, organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; discretion with sensitive data.

Responsibilities

• Performs cash receipt function at NY HQ with the Development Division Contributions Processor.
• Performs Remote Scan Deposit of checks into bank accounts.
• Responsible for all cash deposits at the bank.
• Responsible for all credit card receipts and secure communication to development.
• Deposits and researches all receivable payments from National Affiliates and Affiliates.
• Daily reporting of stock donations.
• Coordinates with Accounting on deposits per regulations and internal protocols.
• Communicates with Legal, Planned Giving, and Major Gifts about deposits.
• coordinating with Development and Accounting for backup documentation for audits.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
