Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, with 3 years in customer service, cash handling, retail, or banking, or 1 year as Treasury Technician.
• Knowledge of county policies, governmental accounting principles and property tax processes.
• Ability to handle cash accurately and maintain records with confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, process, verify, and reconcile account and fiscal documentation.
• Handle cash, provide correct change, and balance daily to the penny.
• Maintain real estate and personal property tax records and reports to support fiscal operations.
• Provide customer service in person and by phone/email; assist with receipts, deposits, and tax-related tasks.
