TS Banking group is seeking to hire a TreasuryAnalyst. This position is responsible for supporting theAsset/Liability Committee (ALCO) and Treasury functions throughfacilitating interest rate risk, liquidity, and capital modeling.Assigned tasks may vary in nature, but mainly pertain to financialreporting of interest rate risk, liquidity risk, investment risk. andother duties as assigned that assist ALCO and bank-wide analytics.
Preferred education and experience: Possess a Bachelor's degree froman accredited university or institution with the major area of studyin Accounting, Finance, Econometrics, Statistics or other closelyrelated discipline.
Position Location: Treynor, IA/ Hybrid
Pay: $50,000- $62,000/yr.
Experience and Skills:
- Perform interest rate risk analysis (EaR and VaR) and stresstesting on TSBG balance sheets.
- Perform cash flow, liquidity, and capital analysis and stresstesting on TSBG balance sheets.
- Perform reconciliation and analysis of financial data.
- Extract data from financial reporting databases for input intorisk models. Assist in running risk models.
- Analyze balance sheet risk dynamics such as concentration levels,credit risk trends and performance indicators.
- Pertinent reporting may cover a broad range of responsibilitiessuch as financial modeling, forecasting, and risk management.
- Ability to perform all other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all banking and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules,operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability toeffectively present information and respond to questions fromemployees of company and the general public. Must possess goodcommunication skills. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and dividein all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, anddecimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to drawand interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to operate the following: telephone, personal computer,printer, copy machine, fax machine. Working knowledge of wordprocessing, spreadsheet, and database software programs. Advanced PCknowledge beneficial.
