TS Bank is seeking to hire a Branch Managerfor our Atlantic, IA location. This role is responsible fordirecting the operations of the branch location to ensure all bank andregulatory policies and procedures are followed, clients receiveprompt and courteous service, and products and services offered meetthe needs of the client base.
Preferred Education and experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) fromfour-year college or university preferred; or three to four yearsrelated experience and/or training; or equivalent combination ofeducation and experience.

Experience and Skills:
Perform all essential responsibilities and tasks ofall Universal Banker levels proficiently.
- Drive all aspects of the sales and service processes. Set goalsfor the staff and ensure accountability for their sales andreferral performance. Plan and facilitate weekly huddles todiscuss results, product promotions, etc. Ensure that all resultsare achieved.
- Foster and promote exceptional client service based uponguidelines set in the Branch Service Level Agreement.
- Proactively manage the new account opening lean process. Meetsregularly with staff to discuss oversights and provide coaching.
- Proactively identify sales opportunities with an emphasis onestablishing profitable client relationships and deepeningexisting client relationships. Promote, explain, and sell allpersonal banking products and services. Ask clients for referrals.
- Provide motivation and coaching to staff to ensure that assignedpersonal banking incentive goals are achieved. Conduct skillpractice and provide feedback following the observations of liveclient interactions. Monitor tracking of personal bankingincentive program.
- Develop and implement plans to include calling on maturingaccounts, leads, referrals, new account follow-up, and otherprospecting opportunities for the designated market area. Trackresults in the CRM and follow up as appropriate.
- Develop new business opportunities and conduct outside salescalls; Analyze client base and competitive environment for themarket area. Monitor, evaluate, and implement adjustments toprograms to ensure achievement of goals.
- Review daily overdraft report and make pay or return and chargeor no charge decisions.
- Authorize transactions in accordance with bank policy (e.g.,deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, wire transfers, etc.)Address and resolve client concerns and inquiries. Ensure and isheld accountable for the audit integrity, risk management, andsecurity of the branch.
- Maintain thorough product knowledge of all personal bankingproducts and services. Provide staff training to include productknowledge, sales, referrals, client service, and policy and procedure.
- Perform various audits as assigned by the Internal Auditor.
- Conduct interviews, hire new staff, and provide employee orientation.
- Periodically participates in the bank's business developmentactivities, presents the bank in industry and professionalassociations, community organizations local business groups,etc., and promotes the bank's favorable image.
- Ability to perform all other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all banking and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Directly supervises assigned employees and performsadministrative duties associated with staff management (e.g.,trains employees, delegates work and ensures the completion ofsame, prepares and publishes work schedule, reviews and approvestimesheets, coaches and counsels employees, prepares performanceevaluations and conducts evaluation meetings, conducts staffmeetings, makes salary and promotional recommendations,participates in recruitment, interview, and hiring process,administers progressive discipline, takes action regardingdepartmental activities and staff, approves/disapproves requestsfor leave time, notifies employees of mandatory training and bankmeetings). Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordancewith the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules,operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability toeffectively present information and respond to questions fromemployees of company and the general public. Must possess goodcommunication skills. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, anddivide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, commonfractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, andpercent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to operate the following: telephone, personal computer,printer, copy machine, fax machine. Working knowledge of wordprocessing, spreadsheet, and database software programs. AdvancedPC knowledge beneficial.
- To effectively perform the job, must have reliabletransportation to travel to and from work and other work-relatedevents, meetings, interactions with clients, etc.
- Position may require the ability to work before or after normalbusiness hours, including weekends and overnight travel, to meetrequired deadlines and attend meetings and/or training programs.
