Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
  • Experience in treasury, banking, accounting, finance operations, insurance administration, or corporate finance support.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to reconcile data, identify exceptions, and communicate findings clearly.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial data management; experience with banking portals, ERP systems, treasury workstations, or reporting tools is preferred.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and follow established internal controls.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage recurring deadlines and multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and set daily cash positions; support accurate short-term cash visibility.
  • Prepare, review, and coordinate wire and ACH activity.
  • Support bank file uploads and data integration into treasury and accounting systems.
  • Review, analyze, and reconcile bank analysis fees; identify unusual charges.
  • Maintain the bank account inventory and assist with account governance.
  • Support insurance budgeting, invoicing, and relations with partners.
  • Track insurance claims and maintain status information for management review.
  • Manage certificates of insurance and respond to inquiries.
  • Prepare recurring treasury reports and conduct analysis to support cash, banking, insurance, and compliance activities.

Job Overview

Komatsu is seeking a detail‑oriented Treasury Analyst to support North American treasury operations, including daily cash management, banking administration, insurance and risk management support, compliance reporting, and treasury analytics. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate liquidity visibility, supporting controlled payment processes, and partnering with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen treasury operations.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Cash Management & Liquidity Operations: Monitor and set daily cash positions; support accurate short‑term cash visibility; coordinate bank activity review; and assist with funding decisions as needed.
  • Payment Processing Support: Prepare, review, and coordinate wire and ACH activity in accordance with approval protocols, banking controls, and internal treasury procedures.
  • Bank File & Data Uploads: Support proceeds upload processes and BAI file uploads to ensure timely and accurate integration of banking information into treasury and accounting systems.
  • Bank Fee Management: Review, analyze, and reconcile bank analysis fees; identify unusual charges; support fee validation and cost‑control opportunities.
  • Bank Account Governance: Maintain the bank account inventory, support documentation of authorized signers and account purposes, and assist with bank account opening, closing, and maintenance activities.
  • Insurance Administration: Support insurance allocations, including workers’ compensation‑related allocations; assist with insurance budgeting, invoice processing, and ongoing coordination with internal stakeholders and external insurance partners.
  • Claims & Risk Support: Track insurance claims, maintain current status information, coordinate follow‑up items, and support accurate documentation for management review.
  • Certificates & Filings: Manage certificate of insurance requests, support state insurance filings, and respond to insurance‑related inquiries with timely, accurate, and service‑oriented communication.
  • Compliance Reporting: Support FBAR reporting and other treasury‑related compliance activities by gathering required bank account data, validating completeness, and maintaining appropriate documentation.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Prepare recurring treasury reports, conduct analysis to support cash, banking, insurance, and compliance activities, and contribute to special projects that improve visibility, controls, and process efficiency.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Relevant experience in treasury, banking, accounting, finance operations, insurance administration, or corporate finance support.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to reconcile data, identify exceptions, and communicate findings clearly.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial data management; experience with banking portals, ERP systems, treasury workstations, or reporting tools is preferred.
