Job summary

Graybar Electric Company, Clayton, MO, is seeking a Treasury Analyst to perform detailed analysis and develop reports and forecasting models for senior management. You will support financial planning, reporting, and treasury decision-making with recurring and non-recurring analyses as assigned.

The role requires a 4-year degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics/Statistics, 3+ years of experience, and strong Excel, Visual Basic and Access skills for large data analysis.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and develop various reports and forecasting models as assigned by leadership.
  • Provide specialized monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on receivables performance.
  • Analyze financial decisions such as rate of return, lease vs buy, capital budgeting, and lease IRR.
  • Prepare quarterly reports for the Finance Committee and audit for accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain models forecasting future financial performance.
  • Provide independent valuations of acquisition candidates.

## Treasury AnalystApplylocations: Clayton, MOtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R262990Make a difference.As a Treasury Analyst, you will perform detailed analysis and provide specialized reporting to senior management that will optimize financial planning and decision making.**In this role you will:*** Prepare and develop various non-recurring and recurring reports and forecasting models as assigned by the Assistant Treasurer, Vice President and Treasurer, or Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.* Provide the Vice President and Treasurer with various specialized monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on the performance of the Company's accounts receivable portfolio.* Perform analysis on financial decision-making opportunities such as rate of return, lease verses buy, capital budgeting, and lease internal rate of return.* Responsible for preparation of the quarterly report that is presented to the Company's Finance Committee; audit final reports for accuracy and ensure deadlines are met.* Recommend, develop, and maintain models that forecast the future financial performance of the Company.* Provide independent valuations of acquisition candidates.* Provide backup to other Treasury functions**What you bring to the table:*** Minimum 3 years of experience: Must have excellent skills in spreadsheet and forecast computing including Excel, Visual Basic, and Access and demonstrated ability to understand and apply basic financial concepts* 4+ years of experience preferred* Four-year degree: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or a closely related discipline; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.* Knowledge of financial practices and techniques* Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and how to apply them to the Company's proprietary models* Understanding of how to apply basic to moderately complex financial concepts* Ability to analyze and draw conclusions from large volumes of data* Ability to perform a wide variety of moderately complex treasury activities* Excellent skills in Excel* Strong oral and written communication skills* Ability to work under limited supervision and exercise good judgment* Some travel requiredCompensation Details: The expected starting rate of pay for this position is $67,919 annually, depending on experience.
