Job summary

Allegiant is seeking a Treasury Staff Accountant to ensure accurate accounting of treasury transactions and maintain SOX-compliant records. You will report to the Corporate Accounting Department and support audit requests while driving timely reporting and strong internal controls.

The role requires attention to detail, Excel expertise, and a team-focused approach. SAP knowledge is a plus, with responsibilities spanning journal entries, reconciliations, and treasury reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Minimum one year of accounting/finance experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical skills.
• Knowledge of SAP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise interns and accounting staff.
• Process cash disbursements weekly.
• Prepare and manage treasury-related accounting processes for closing.
• Ensure correct recording in sub-ledger and general ledger.
• Prepare journal entries and month-end reconciliations.
• Provide reports for treasury accounts and closing processes.
• Support internal and external audit requests.
• Maintain SOX documentation and compliance.
