Job summary

Allegiant Air is seeking a Treasury Staff Accountant to ensure accurate recording of treasury transactions and SOX‑compliant documentation within the Corporate Accounting Department. The role requires professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity, with a focus on timely reporting and support for internal and external audit requests.

A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and at least one year in accounting/finance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• Minimum one year of professional accounting/finance experience.
• Combination of education and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Supervise interns and accounting staff.
• Process weekly cash disbursements across the organization.
• Prepare and manage treasury-related accounting records for closing.
• Record activity in subledger and general ledger for closing.
• Prepare treasury reports for closing and internal/external reporting.
• Post journal entries and perform monthly reconciliations.
• Maintain records for SOX compliance and audit requests.
• Support management with reporting needs and discrepancies.
