Food Service Worker
Food Service workers champion the experience of the guests and staff through the ministry of food preparation and service. The Food Service team is primarily responsible for preparation and serve out of meals at Tonto Rim, with an emphasis on high quality, safety, and excellent customer service.
Essential Functions
- Clean and wash all dishes, utensils, cups, pots and pans in proper order
- Assist with keeping the kitchen, staff dining, and dining rooms clean as per county health regulations
- Help serve out food to guests going through food line with friendliness and enthusiasm
- Help serve food to guests with safety, friendliness and enthusiasm.
- Help prep for upcoming meals and dining hall activities
Additional Functions
- Keep loading dock area clean
- Help stock pantry, refrigerator, freezer, staff dining and dining room supplies
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications
- Godly, Christian character, integrity, and adaptability
- Agreement with Thousand Pines doctrinal statement, values, and handbook
- Minimum High School Diploma preferred
- Current Food Handler Certificate or willingness to acquire one
- Valid California Drivers license preferred
Physical Demands
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time
- Abilities sufficient to carry out essential functions of the job
