The Riverside County-based dining program is hiring a kitchen associate responsible for maintaining cleanliness, dishwashing, and sanitation across back-of-house areas, ensuring all service stations stay stocked and orderly.

A minimum of 2 years in kitchen production is preferred; applicants should have organizational skills, the ability to prioritize, and the option to obtain a Riverside County EH Food Handler certificate.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in kitchen food production.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize with interruptions.
• Possess or able to obtain Riverside County EH Food Handlers Certificate or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Back-of-House cleanliness including dishwashing, garbage removal, floor sanitation, and equipment cleaning.
• Ensure TDR is stocked with clean dishes and silverware.
• Prepare and transport food from the kitchen to assigned locations; unload/store TDR items.
• Store and prepare food items ensuring freshness; monitor stations for presentation and stock levels.
• Maintain carving stations per health certificate requirements; keep break areas and cafeteria service stations stocked.
• Perform other duties of a general kitchen capacity as needed.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARYResponsible for the maintenance and sanitation of all food service operations, including, but not limited to, dishwashing, cleaning of all production equipment, cafeteria, and trash removal, and the stocking of service areas and break rooms within the building.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)Back-of-House cleanliness, including pot washing and dishwashing, removal of all garbage, floor sanitation, cleaning/maintenance of all kitchen equipment, and ensuring work stations are continually wiped down and sanitizedEnsures TDR is stocked with clean dishes and silverware.Prepare and transport food from the kitchen to assigned locations. Unloads and stores all TDR-related items delivered to TAP.Store and prepare food items ensuring the highest standards for freshness.Monitor food stations for presentation, keeping them properly stocked.
