LMG in Orlando, FL is seeking a Technician Resource Coordinator to serve as a central link between project teams, technicians, and contract labor partners. You will help secure labor resources, schedule, and coordinate travel to ensure timely event execution.

The role focuses on building technician databases, maximizing utilization, and negotiating contractor rates, while maintaining accurate labor information for planning and scheduling. Excellent communication and organization are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage technician resources by maintaining databases and availability.
  • Ensure labor resource information supports scheduling and planning decisions.
  • Maximize technician utilization while balancing project needs and availability.
  • Schedule technicians based on project requirements.
  • Determine the mix of company vs freelance labor.
  • Resolve scheduling conflicts and adjust allocations as projects evolve.
  • Serve as contracting point of contact for freelance resources.
  • Negotiate contractor rates and terms within guidelines.
  • Identify qualified labor based on skills, location, schedules, and client preferences.
  • Communicate project information to technicians and stakeholders via email, phone, text, and scheduling systems.
  • Support alignment between project teams and labor resources throughout planning.
  • Research and coordinate travel arrangements for technicians and resources.
  • Review travel costs and obtain approvals to support timelines.
  • Assist in planning for seamless technician experience from prep to event execution.
  • Review quotes and labor information for accuracy; coordinate staffing details with ops teams.
  • Participate in on-call labor support rotation to address staffing needs.

What You'll Do
Build and manage technician resources
  • Maintain technician databases, including skills, proficiencies, and availability.
  • Ensure accurate labor resource information is available for scheduling and planning decisions.
  • Help maximize technician utilization while balancing project requirements and workforce availability.
  • Schedule technicians based on project needs and technical requirements.
  • Determine the most effective mix of company technicians and freelance contract labor.
  • Resolve scheduling conflicts and adjust resource allocations as project needs evolve.
Manage contractor relationships
  • Serve as the contracting point of contact for freelance labor resources.
  • Negotiate contractor rates and terms within established company guidelines.
  • Identify qualified labor resources based on skills, location, schedules, and client preferences.
Keep teams informed
  • Communicate critical project information to technicians, freelancers, and other stakeholders through email, phone, text, and scheduling systems.
  • Support alignment between project teams and labor resources throughout the planning process.
Coordinate travel and event logistics
  • Research and coordinate travel arrangements for technicians and labor resources.
  • Review travel costs, obtain required approvals, and ensure travel plans support project timelines.
  • Assist in planning efforts that help technicians have a seamless experience from preparation through event execution.
Support operational accuracy
  • Review project quotes and labor-related information for accuracy.
  • Partner with operational teams to coordinate event staffing details and resource planning.
  • Participate in the on-call labor support rotation to help address staffing needs as they arise.
