Job summary

Novax Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Steel Erection Travelling Superintendent to lead PEMB and steel erection projects across the U.S. This is a hands-on leadership role coordinating with crews, project stakeholders, and safety protocols.

You will travel extensively, supervise mid to large erection crews, read drawings, mentor staff, and ensure projects meet schedule and quality standards while maximizing performance and safety.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction/trade experience.
• 5+ years specifically in steel erection or PEMB.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience leading mid- to large crews.
• OSHA 30 and First Aid certification.
• Aerial platform and forklift certification.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively.
• Construction Management or related degree preferred, but substantial field experience can substitute.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise mid to large erection crews.
• Oversee steel and PEMB erection activities.
• Coordinate daily site operations, sequencing, scheduling and manpower.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and plans.
• Mentor, manage, and train jobsite personnel.
• Coordinate with customers, subcontractors, suppliers and project teams.
• Identify and resolve issues quickly as they arise.
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to project requirements.

$110,000 - $140,000 base + up to 35% bonus | Nationwide Travel | Full-Time

Are you an experienced Steel Erection Travelling Superintendent looking for your next opportunity with a company that values the people doing the work?

We’re looking for a seasoned Superintendent to take the lead on pre-engineered metal building and steel erection projects across the U.S.

This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who knows how to run a jobsite, manage crews, coordinate with project stakeholders, and keep projects moving safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead and supervise mid to large sized erection crews

• Coordinate daily site operations, sequencing, scheduling and manpower

What we’re looking for:

$110K–$140K base salary, depending on experience
