Job description

Steel Erection Superintendent - Build More Than Steel. Build a Legacy.

Are you tired of leading jobs where no one has your back?

Do you want to run projects with a crew that respects your experience and pushes you to be better every day?

At S&R Enterprises, you're not just managing steel, you're building people, teams, and a legacy that lasts.

If this sounds like you, we are looking for our next Steel Erection Superintendent to lead our crews around the U.S.!

Why You'll Love Working Here

At S&R Enterprises, we don't believe in average. We believe in grit, growth, and showing up for each other when it matters most.

  • Experience is respected. You've earned it. We recognize it.
  • Leadership is real. You don't just give an order. You set the tone.
  • The team comes first. We win together or not at all.
  • Standards stay high. Safety, quality, and production matter every time.

You're not just another superintendent. You're the standard others measure against.

Please Don't Apply If...

This role comes with responsibility, and not everyone is built for it.

  • Lacks real field experience. This isn't a learn-as-you-go leadership role.
  • Avoids accountability. You own the job, --good or bad.
  • Cuts corners on safety or quality. That's a hard "no" here.
  • Can't lead people. If crews don't trust you, the job will fail.
  • Shows up unprepared. This role demands consistency and discipline.

We're building leaders, not placeholders.

Who Thrives in This Role

We want someone who hasn't compromise. Someone who will thrive in this role has:

  • 8-10 years in the steel construction industry experience. You've seen it, solved it, and led through it.
  • 5+ yearsExperience leading crews or projects. You know how to manage people and production.
  • Respected in the field. People listen when you speak because you've earned it.
  • Strong decision-making skillser. You adjust fast and keep jobs moving.
  • A Mentor mentor mindset. You build people, not just projects.

You're the kind of leader others want to work for.

What You'll Be Responsible For as a Steel Erection Superintendent

As a Superintendent at S&R, you are the field leader. Your decisions drive safety, schedule, and success.

You will:

  • Lead crews and clearly communicate project plans.
  • Manage manpower, equipment, and daily jobsite operations.
  • Oversee crane selection, rigging, and lift planning.
  • Interpret structural, erection, and shop drawings.

  • Coordinate vendors, materials, and deliveries.
  • Enforce safety programs and site-specific plans.
  • Complete reports, timesheets, and job documentation.
  • Support project planning, budgeting, and execution.

You are the person the team looks to when it matters most.
