Job summary

Ideal Dental is seeking an Orthodontic Manager to lead a Specialty Team and ensure exceptional patient experiences across all clinics. Reporting to the Specialty Regional Manager, you will coordinate front and back-office operations, manage schedules, verify insurance, and present treatment plans with confidence.

You’ll be part of North America’s fast-growing dental group that emphasizes patient-centered care, innovation, and professional development, with a strong culture and growth

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years Orthodontics experience.
• Minimum of 1 year dental management experience preferred.
• Experience with treatment plans required.
• Insurance verification experience required.
• Digital practice software experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients with a smile.
• Answer phones and schedule appointments with a positive attitude.
• Maintain flexibility regarding scheduling changes, communicating changes to patients and staff.
• Work to maintain full schedules and office schedule flow.
• Collect balances and verify insurance when needed.
• Present accurate patient treatment plans, determine insurance coverage & patient financial responsibility for procedures, assist with insurance pre-authorizations and review finance options with patients.
• Review upcoming schedules and audit accounts as needed.
• Coordinate patient check in and check out.
• Perform all duties relating to supporting the office.
• Oversee schedule of staff/doctors/patients.
• Motivate the Endodontic Team to ensure revenue goals.
• Manage Endodontic front office and back-office staff.
• Actively pursue continuous learning and professional development of Endodontic Team.
• Complete reports as needed in an accurate and timely manner.
• All other duties assigned

The Orthodontic Manager supports a Specialty Team by providing proficient, trustworthy dental services and care to patients, and effectively and efficiently communicating with team members to align with the mission, vision, and values of the organization. This position will be reporting directly to the Specialty Regional Manager and will play an instrumental role in the guest experience for Ideal Dental.

What do you need to have to be a part of our team?
