Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a Senior/Lead MCE Technician for wind projects on GE 1.5 platforms across TX, NM and OK. You will lead on-site crews, coordinate major component replacements, and ensure safe, on-time execution.

Travel is involved; you’ll mentor technicians, oversee crane lifts, prep, and return-to-service activities with a field-first team. Salary $35-40/hr plus overtime, per diem, and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of GE 1.5 wind turbines.
• Proven ability to lead a crew on-site, mentoring and setting expectations.
• Experience in major component replacements (MCE).

Responsibilities

• Lead major component replacements (gearbox, main bearing, blade exchanges).
• Oversee prep, crane operations, and return-to-service activities.
• Direct crane lifts using radio communication and hand signals.
• Support technicians on-site, ensuring quality and safety standards.
