Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job Overview

Skillforce is currently hiring experienced Traveling Welders for projects throughout Ohio and Maryland. These are great opportunities for skilled welders who are comfortable traveling for work and want consistent project opportunities with competitive pay and travel support.

Projects and welding requirements will vary by location, so we are looking for welders with strong hands‑on experience across structural, fabrication, industrial, or commercial applications.

Travel packages vary by project and may include company‑provided lodging plus either a $30/day meal per diem or $700/week per diem.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform welding and fabrication work according to project specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding diagrams
• Perform MIG, stick, flux‑core, or other welding processes based on project requirements
• Fit, assemble, and weld structural or fabricated components
• Inspect welds and completed work for quality and accuracy
• Use welding equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely
• Follow all job‑site safety procedures and OSHA requirements
• Work independently and as part of a crew to meet project deadlines
• Maintain a clean and safe work area

What We’re Looking For
