Job summary

Nordic Solutions is seeking highly skilled MIG/TIG/Flux-Core/Stick/Submerged Arc welders for nationwide traveling assignments across the United States. The role requires 5+ years of verifiable welding experience and the ability to read blueprints and weld symbols. On-site deployments may last 6+ months with paid per diem and mileage reimbursement.

Weld tests are common at client sites on day one or two. Certification to ASME Section IX, AWS D17.1, API 1104 or NAVSEA codes is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of verifiable welding experience.
• Welding to ASME Section IX, AWS D17.1, API 1104, AWS, ASME, NAVSEA or equivalent codes preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret weld symbols; experience with multiple metals and positions.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, Flux-Core, Stick or Submerged Arc welding per WPS.
• Set up welding equipment and select filler metals per WPS.
• Interpret blueprints and weld symbols; ensure welds meet codes and specs.
• Maintain documentation and adhere to quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with fabrication, quality and engineering teams.
