Overview

Traveling Structural Welder - $25/hr + Paid Travel, Tools Supplied, and Referral Bonuses

At Industrial Air Flow Dynamics, Inc., we supply all the tools and PPE, cover travel and hotel, pay you for passing weld tests, and reward referrals. You\'ll be part of the crew that keeps America\'s power plants running.

Responsibilities

• Travel across the U.S. to power plant sites, welding stainless steel structural components using Flux-Core process (309 wire on ½" carbon plate).
• Read and work from detailed blueprints.
• Perform 2G, 3G, and 4G welds in all positions including overhead and vertical in high-pressure, physically demanding environments like boilers and scaffolding systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial welding experience
• Ability to pass bend-tested welds: 2G, 3G, and 4G (Flux-Core, 309 wire)
• Comfortable working at heights and in tight, hot spaces
• Willing to travel continuously nationwide
• Strong work ethic, blueprint reading skills, and commitment to safety
• Rental car provided (must have valid driver\'s license)
