Job summary

Energy Job Shop seeks experienced MIG Welders for traveler contracts out of Houston, TX, to support a leading trailer manufacturer. You will perform MIG welding and light fabrication on mild steel, reading blueprints and maintaining safety and quality on every weld.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of MIG welding and blueprint reading, can pass a weld test in 2F/3F/4F, and are willing to travel 4–12 months.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of MIG welding experience on mild steel.
• Minimum 1 year of blueprint reading experience.
• Able to pass a weld test in 2F, 3F, and 4F positions.
• Willingness and ability to travel for contract assignments (4–12 months).
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including overtime up to 50 hours/week.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding and light fabrication on mild steel components.
• Read blueprints to determine welds and fabrication steps.
• Travel on contract assignments (4–12 months).
• Maintain safety procedures and wear required PPE.

MIG Welders - Traveler - $140 Per Diem - Up to $33/hr - Stoughton, WI

Aerotek is seeking experienced MIG Welders for traveling contract assignments based out of Houston, Texas. These welders will join a leading trailer manufacturer, performing MIG welding and light fabrication on mild steel components. The ideal candidates are skilled in blueprint reading, committed to safety, and eager to advance through structured welder levels in a modern, growing manufacturing environment.

What You'll Need
