Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Welders for projects located in the Madison, WI area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate ranges from $24-$28/hour based on experience plus $100/day worked per diem for travelers 60+ miles from the job site.

Qualifications

  • Read blueprints and weld symbols
  • Weld using GMAW-P, GMAW-S and GTAW
  • Weld materials including carbon steel, galvanized, stainless and aluminum
  • Interpret measurements with calipers, height gauges and protractors
  • Prepare and lay out weldments and use gauges and jigs

Responsibilities

  • Read blueprints and weld symbols
  • Weld tanks and metal parts per weld process specification
  • Weld various metals (carbon steel, galvanized, stainless, aluminum)
  • Hand layouts of weldments
  • Use fixtures, gauges, and jigs to manufacture welded parts
  • Assist with creating work instructions
  • Complete first piece in process and final inspections
  • Analyze weld processes and recommend improvements

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Welders for projects located in the Madison, WI area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate ranges from $24-$28/hour based on experience plus $100/day worked per diem for Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:

  • Read and understand blueprints, geometrical call outs and weld symbols

  • Use GMAW-P, GMAW-S, and GTAW to effectively weld tanks and metal parts together per the weld process specification sheet

  • Perform welding on a wide variety of metals and alloys including carbon steel galvanized steel stainless steel and aluminum

  • Hand layouts of weldments

  • Use fixtures gauges and jigs to manufacture welded parts to customer specifications

  • Assist with creating work instructions

  • Complete the first piece in process and final inspections using calipers height gauges protractors and tape measures

  • Analyze weld processes and recommending process improvements
