Job summary

Tradesmen International, LLC is urgently seeking experienced Traveling MIG Welders for projects in the Milwaukee, WI area. This first shift opportunity offers a pay rate of $24/hour based on experience along with a $100/day per diem for travelers over 60 miles from the job site.

The ideal candidate will have MIG welding experience and be able to inspect their work effectively. We provide benefits including vacation pay, health insurance, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan.

Qualifications

• Must pass various weld tests, competency test, math test, drug screen, and physical.
• Must have GMAW, MIG/MAG experience.

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Traveling MIG Welders for projects located in the Milwaukee, WI area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $24/hour based on experience plus $100/day per diem for travelers 60+ miles from the job site. If all hours are met the minimum weekly earned will be $2,140. Job Scope

• MIG welding
• Weld I-beams, frames & fuel tanks in flat/overhead positions
• Weld sheet metal from 10 gauge up to 1 inch
• Clamp, hold, tack-weld, grind or bolt component parts
• Weld, position & secure work pieces using hoist cranes, wire & banding machines or hand-tools
• Inspect products/equipment for defects/malfunctions

Requirements

• Must pass various weld test, competency test, math test, drug screen and physical
• Must be able to run one bead over side without stopping
• Must be able to read measuring devices
• Must have GMAW, MIG/MAG experience
