Job summary

Gentle Dental Careers in Milpitas, CA is seeking a Treatment Coordinator to guide patients from clinical diagnosis through treatment acceptance. You will communicate financial options and coordinate scheduling, helping patients achieve a healthy smile in a busy dental office.

The role is full-time with competitive pay, range $23.00–$27.00 per hour DOE, plus benefits including medical, dental, vision, PTO, holidays, a 401k plan, and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1+ year front office experience in a medical setting.
• 1 year of experience in Orthodontics.
• Computer literate; QSI experience is a plus.
• Experience presenting treatment plans and discussing costs.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Consultative sales experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Discuss treatment options and establish financial arrangements with patients.
• Monitor patient progress and update treatment plans in the system.
• Be knowledgeable about insurance plans, manuals, exclusions and limits.
• Ensure predeterminations and patient notifications are completed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience presenting Treatment Plans and going over the costs of services preferred.
• Bilingual is a plus.
• Consultative sales experience a plus

Duties & Responsibilities

• Discuss treatment options, establish treatment schedules, and prepare financial arrangements with patients.
• Monitor each patient’s progress to ensure completion of dental treatment plan and report patient status to attending doctor as well as enter and track patient treatment plans in computer system.
• Be knowledgeable in various insurance plans, manuals, exclusions and limitations.
• Ensure that all forms for acceptance (predeterminations to third parties benefit providers) have been submitted and patients have been notified of status and their financial responsibilities.
