Daikin Comfort is seeking a Traveling Trainer Technical for Residential to deliver comprehensive product and technical training for internal and external customers. The role emphasizes customer satisfaction through effective instruction and hands-on support.

The position requires extensive travel (more than 90%), collaboration with subject matter experts, and development of training materials such as PowerPoint presentations and manuals. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience training in the technical service field.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of HVAC products and controls.
• Knowledge of management systems is a plus.
• Proven track record of success in service and customer service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, students and customers.

Responsibilities

• Work with subject matter experts to develop or enhance curriculum as required.
• Prepare training facility and lab prior to training classes.
• Maintain training material inventory at assigned location.
• Maintain training facility standards, including equipment and tools.
• Assist in development of product and technical training programs, including curriculum and corresponding training materials such as PowerPoint presentations, videos, and manuals.
• Provide training support, including communication, promotion and coordination of product and technical training.
• Acts as a liaison between sales, product marketing, service, and training.
• Assist at educational or industry conferences; ability to present at conferences.
• Perform additional projects/duties to support ongoing business needs.
• Audit technical trainers 1&2 and experienced independent trainers.

NOTE: THIS IS A TRAVELING POSITION TRAVELING MORE THAN 90% OF THE TIME

Education/Certification

• HVAC degree or certification
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related field, preferred
