Job summary

Uprite Construction seeks an experienced Traveling Superintendent to oversee commercial ground-up projects across California, with initial assignment in Merced. Must reside in Northern or Southern California and be willing to travel as project needs dictate.

You will lead field operations, coordinate tilt-wall construction, manage schedules, safety, quality, and subcontractor performance while maintaining strong relationships with owners and design teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Superintendent in commercial General Contracting.
• Ability to manage field operations and coordinate multiple subcontractors.
• Strong leadership and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field operations for commercial projects.
• Manage ground-up tilt-wall construction from mobilization to closeout.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections and field activities.
• Develop and maintain short-term field schedules to protect the project timeline.
• Ensure safety and quality standards on site and address deficiencies.
• Lead punch lists, turnover, and closeout activities.
• Build relationships with owners, subcontractors, and design teams.
