Uprite Construction Corporation is seeking a Traveling Superintendent to lead field operations across California. The initial assignment is in Merced, with future project placements based on the pipeline.

Qualifications

• Proven Superintendent experience with a commercial General Contractor.
• Tilt wall construction experience is required.
• Strong ground up commercial construction experience.
• Experience independently managing field operations on active construction projects.
• Knowledge of tilt wall sequencing, panel construction, erection and bracing.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all day to day field operations for assigned commercial construction projects.
• Manage ground up tilt wall construction from mobilization through project completion and closeout.
• Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, vendors, deliveries, inspections, and field activities.
• Develop and maintain short term field schedules with the project team.
• Coordinate sitework, underground utilities, foundations, slab activities and tilt wall panel construction.
• Plan and coordinate tilt wall sequencing, crane coordination, and field operations.
• Conduct daily site walks and identify schedule, quality, and coordination issues.
• Work with Project Managers/Engineers to resolve RFIs and drawing conflicts.
• Lead subcontractor coordination meetings and communicate expectations.
• Maintain accurate daily reports and field documentation.
• Drive safety compliance and manage quality control throughout construction.
