Hana Brands is seeking a Temp Sushi and Fresh Foods Chef to join a live sushi bar. Responsibilities include fish cutting, sushi rice prep, and preparing fresh foods while maintaining safety and quality. This is a temporary assignment offering $200 per day, with hotel accommodations for out-of-town shifts.

Travel is arranged, and there is potential for franchise ownership pathways for high performers. You will work independently in a store, ensuring proper par levels, waste control, and customer

Qualificações

• Two or more years of food handling experience, plus either sushi rolling experience or a culinary degree.
• Excellent knife skills — sashimi and nigiri prep, vegetable prep.
• Valid food handler's card, or ability to obtain one before your first shift.
• Expert knowledge of food safety regulations and safe handling practices.
• Able to communicate in English with customers and teammates.
• Demonstrated professionalism and respect for coworkers.
• Ability to work under pressure with sound judgement.
• Available to work the full length of the assignment.
• Aligns with Hana Brands mission and core values.

Responsabilidades

• Expert in cutting, slicing and filleting different fish, vegetables, and produce.
• Prepare rolls based on provided guidelines and training.
• Prepare sushi rice to spec, consistently every shift.
• Make various sushi dishes according to company quality, portion, and safety guidelines.
• Prepare other fresh foods as needed (entrees, fruit) and inspect quality of ingredients.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and prevent contamination.
